Sharp knives shouldn't cost a fortune.

Why we started
Good knives used to mean one of two things: a $300 Japanese blade you were nervous to use, or a big-box set that went dull in a month. We wanted the thing in between — a knife that holds a real edge, feels right in the hand, and costs what a knife should cost.
So we went to the source. Our knives are made in Yangjiang, China, a city that has been forging blades for close to 1,500 years, by blade smiths who care about the same details we do. No importer, no distributor, no retail markup between the factory and your kitchen.
How we build a knife
Steel. 7Cr17 high-carbon stainless — enough carbon to take a keen edge and hold it, enough chromium to shrug off rust with basic care. Our Damascus series uses Japanese VG-10.
Edge. Ground to 15° per side, the Japanese standard, instead of the 20° most Western sets use. You feel the difference on the first tomato.
Handle. Full-tang Pakkawood with a sloped bolster that guides your hand into a proper pinch grip. Balanced so the knife does the work.

And the cookware
Knives came first. Cookware came because customers kept asking. Our ceramic set uses a mineral-based non-stick coating with no PTFE, PFOA, or PFAS, works on induction, gas, and electric, and is rated to 550°F.
Same idea as the knives: the good version, at a fair price. See the set →

Made honestly
Real high-carbon steel, full-tang handles, a mineral non-stick with no PFAS, PTFE, or PFOA. Nothing hidden under a coating.

Built for every day
Hand wash, dry, hone once a week. That's the whole care routine, and it keeps the edge for years.
